I am able to offer you what I wish I had …
Hi everyone, and welcome to my first blog.
I am Jules part owner of Jumbos Playland with my sister Monique and our husbands of course!
There is no better time to post my first blog than the day I am launching my new website – TODAY … YAY !! www.jumbosplayland.com.au
I have succeeded in getting the “taj mahal” website as well as The Jumbos Baby Club up and running. But not without casualties… ie. lots of takeaway dinners, lots of “out of control mummy days”, and lots of “yes you are right honey (Sam), you do come second to the website”…
So here I am the day of showcasing my new Jumbos Baby Club to you.
And I am simply on a high … my dreams of offering nurturing baby classes to regional Port Macquarie have finally come to true. These classes are both accessible and reasonably priced to families in our area.
Wow, wouldn’t this have been brilliant for my first child James? He is turning 7 this year but I do remember him as a newborn. He was 5 weeks premmie, suffered colic and was very unsettled. As a mum I worried, thought I needed help and would have loved something to make me feel like I was helping him.
If The Jumbos Baby Club had been there I would certainly have enrolled him in the Colic Relief Massage Class. Him being my first born, I had plenty of time and was busting to “do something” with him, so I am sure I would have been doing Baby Sign classes too.
So, here I am 7 years later, and I am able to offer you what I wish I had.
Jan and Lestelle, our two baby massage and baby sign instructors have had their heads down and bottoms up this last 6 months getting their certificates. These courses were very intensive and thorough. Proudly, they are now fully qualified instructors in Baby Massage and Baby Sign Language.
So I hope you enjoy the new extension of our business - The Jumbos Baby Club. We are mums and dads ourselves and know what a rewarding job parenthood is. There is nothing that can give you more joy than being with your child.
